How it works

our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed living environment where families can begin to heal, strengthen their bonds, and move forward together. We are committed to offering a caring, sober, and culturally respectful space where children and parents can grow and thrive as a family unit.

How We Support Families

In addition to assisting with daily living, our dedicated staff work closely with families to connect them to both in-house and community programming. We focus on:

  • Encouraging healthy family dynamics.
  • Teaching life skills that build confidence and independence.
  • Helping parents and children develop strategies for maintaining safe, balanced, and nurturing relationships.
  • Providing positive guidance and ongoing encouragement as families move through their reunification journey.

Services & Supports Available

Families in our care will have access to a wide range of services and supports, including:

  • Case management and advocacy
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Nurse practitioners, doctors, and other health supports
  • Cultural and spiritual guidance from Elders and Knowledge Keepers
  • Life skills development and psycho-educational programming
  • Parenting and relationship support
  • Employment preparation and help navigating educational goals
  • Transportation assistance for school-aged children when needed
Our locations are designed to provide family-friendly, safe, and flexible accommodations. Childminding is available to allow parents to focus on healing and learning, while homes are located near schools, green spaces, and essential services.

Cultural & Community Connections

We strongly believe that connection to culture is connection to healing. Families are encouraged to explore or re-connect with their cultural roots through.

  • Traditional teachings
  • Ceremonies and sharing circles
  • Sweat lodges and sacred fires
  • Guidance from Elders and cultural mentors

  • Parenting & healthy family relationships

Our Commitment

Our homes are staffed 24/7, ensuring ongoing support and supervision. While we encourage families to build towards independence, we also ensure they have access to the full range of resources and supports that will help them heal and succeed together.
